CNTC India Projects a JV Real Estate company based out of Bengaluru, India has its primary focus on Residential, Commercial and Infrastructure development. While the term , Corporate Social Responsibility,is widely used today, the concept behind it is not new to CNTC India. Our responsibilities are towards those who invests in our projects and services, to our employees, to the communities in which we live and work, and to all our stakeholders.

Accordingly, our Corporate Social Responsibility (‘CSR’) policy is rooted in the JV’s core values of quality, reliability and trust guided by international standards and best practices, and driven by our aspiration for excellence in the overall performance of our business.

The CSR activities of CNTC India Projects India will have the following thrust areas:

IMPROVING SAFETY AND IMPROVING LIVES OF WORKERS AT SITE AND OFFICE

  • Safe work environment.
  • No discrimination culture.
  • Ensuring health standards of workers.
  • Continuous skill development programs for workers at site.
  • Promote preventive health care and sanitation and making available safe drinking water.

PROMOTING GENDER EQUALITY AND EMPOWERING WOMEN

RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS THE ENVIRONMENT

  • Ensuring environmental sustainability, ecological balance, protection of flora and fauna, animal welfare, agroforestry, conservation of natural resources and maintaining quality of soil, air and water.
  • Training of underprivileged girls as healthcare assistants and midwives.

RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS.

TRAINING TO PROMOTE SPORTS, NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED SPORTS, PARALYMPIC SPORTS AND OLYMPICS SPORTS.

COMMUNITY RESPONSIBILITY

The company will work together with key community based partners that have the greatest insights into the needs of local populations and the strategies that stand the greatest chances of success. The Company expects no favorable treatment as a result of the social investment that it makes; hence the corporate program designs are based upon its values, its equity and its motivation to be an outstanding corporate citizen. All monetary employee contributions to any NGO partners are matched equally by the company.

The total budget for the CSR projects will be decided by the CSR Committee in accordance with applicable provisions of the Act and the CSR Rules.

The CSR activities will be driven by a dedicated project team under the guidance and support of the CSR Committee and the Board. The CSR Committee will play a significant role in ensuring that the CSR policy is embedded across CNTC India Projects operations and the CSR initiatives are in line with this policy.

The CSR Committee will be responsible for monitoring approved projects and fund disbursals for such projects. The CSR Committee will put in place a transparent monitoring and reporting mechanism for ensuring effective implementation of the projects, programs and activities proposed to be undertaken by CNTC India. Such monitoring mechanisms will include visits, meetings and progress/status reporting by the project teams.

Any or all provisions of this CSR policy may be amended by the Board based on the recommendations of the CSR Committee or in accordance with any statutory guidelines that may be issued from time to time.
