CNTC, Hong Kong has entered into the Indian Real Estate space in partnership with Best Golden Developers Pvt. Ltd., one of Bengaluru leading real estate developer. The newly formed entity is called CNTC India Projects. The formal announcement of the Joint Venture was done on 1st July’ 2017 at a press conference held at Hotel Shangri-La, Bengaluru.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Shi Hui, Vice Chairman, CNTC, says, “We are very excited to enter India through our partner. We have been studying the India Market for the last 2 years, before taking the plunge into India with CNTC India Projects, we get world class technology coupled with best ethical business practices. While considering our entry strategy; Bengaluru City’s highest cosmopolitan index, stability and growth factors were quite fascinating; hence we chose to invest at this top growing city in the world. He further added, “We see promising opportunities in India and in particular Bengaluru. Through this JV we want to capitalise on this huge opportunity and Bengaluru being a “world class city” there will be a lot of growth in the years to come for this city. CNTC worldwide strives to deliver high quality projects and strongly feel that we have the best partner with us to realize our vision”.

Mr. Sanjay Raj, Co-promoter of this Initiative, stated, “We will now have a concrete future plan of expansion and delivery. Our local experience is the right match to leverage the strengths of CNTC India Projects. With CNTC India Projects alliance and expertise, we jointly will set new benchmark in the Real Estate Industry. Our partnership will kick-start with two Milestone projects, The Presidential Tower (TPT) and The Grand Tower.

CNTC is a 60 years old construction conglomerate based out of Hong Kong. CNTC India Projects will initially embark on two residential projects namely ‘The Presidential Tower’ with an investment outlay of Rs.1500+ Crore and ‘The Grand Tower’ with an investment outlay of Rs.1000+Crore.

A 1 Billion USD investment plan for India in the next two years is chalked out and it envisions to develop projects in South India to start with and will comprise of commercial, residential and mixed use projects

Manohar has over 36 years of Techno Commercial / Industrial experience both in India and abroad. He had the honor to work with Asian (L&T), American (Delphi Automotive Systems) & European (SKF) multinational companies throughout his career. He also had the opportunity to work in China for about 3.5 years. These experiences have honed his capability to manage global projects very effectively, involving multi-cultural & multinational teams.

In his last assignment at SKF, was part of country management team and Director Demand Chain & Purchase. Handled entire supply chain functions for all their factories in India and several roles for the Global Purchasing Organization as well.

In Delphi as head of “International Procurement Office for Asia region”, steered his company’s export from Asia to various plants in North America and in the process acquired very good knowledge about Asian automotive supplier base and industry best practices.

His areas of expertise include General Management, Supply Chain Management, six sigma and Lean Manufacturing. Being a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, sponsored lot of projects which brought significant advantages to his organizations both in cost saving and process improvement. Manohar’s academic qualifications include bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT-Trichy, Post Graduation in Industrial Metallurgy from IIT-Chennai and Graduate in Cost Accountancy from Institute of Costs & Works Accountants of India.

He is a regular speaker in various industry forums and delivers guest lectures in academic institutions including IIM-Bangalore, IFIM and Alliance University. Manohar is passionate about his hobby of long distance running. Among his busy schedule he still finds time to participate in various marathon running events across country.

From 2009 beginning to end he was with Nantong Hengtianxin Accounting Firm before joining the Jiangsu Nantong Sanjian Group Co., Ltd., followed by China Nantong Sanjian Group Angola Company, and then the China Nantong Sanjian Group India Company.
